OASI Two Care Bundle RCOG: Sajitha Parveen as Lead
Aim: To evaluate the sustainability of the OASI Care Bundle and to reduce the anal sphincter injury
BigBaby study:
AIM: Exploring whether early IOL (38/40—38+4/40) reduces the risk of shoulder dystocia in babies >90th centile.
RCT looking at early induction vs standard care for women that are predicted to be carrying a macrosomic baby (above 90th centile on scan) on the gap and grow calculator between 35 and 38 weeks.

LOCI trial: Sajitha Parveen as PI
AIM: Comparing the effectiveness of letrozole or Clomifene with or without metformin for ovulation induction in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Women with diagnosed PCOS who are wishing to conceive are randomised to either Clomifeneor Letrozole with either Metformin or placebo.
Giant PANDA: Sajitha Parveen as PI
AIM: To compare Nifedipine versus Labetalol in the treatment of hypertension in pregnancy.
Women are randomised to either Nifedipine or Labetalol for the treatment of chronic, essential PIH and PET. Women are followed up regularly during pregnancy and any alteration in medication is made as required.
Neptune Trial
AIM: To determine the women and staff experience on antenatal screening on NIPT test
CRAFT study:
AIM: Exploring the connection between caesarean section in established labour with late miscarriage and early pre-term labour.
Observational study of pregnant women with previous history of 1 caesarean section in established labour (4 – 10cm).
